Golden Whisk makes a range of confectionery including four gourmet brittle flavours, Salted Popcorn and Macadamia, Pistachio, Almond and Cranberry, Hazelnut and Coffee Bean, and Pretzel and Peanut. We tried the following flavours:
- Peanut and pretzel brittle: I was most looking forward to trying this flavour and I’m a fan of both ingredients and boy, are they a match made in heaven.
- Salted popcorn and macadamia brittle: A great ratio of both elements and not too salty. Second favourite.
- Hazelnut and coffee bean brittle: The coffee has a strong flavour and again pairs well with the hazelnuts.
The brittle is a good consistency and broken into generous size portions. Each packet contains 6 serving sizes. The branding looks smart and would make a lovely gift.

About Golden Whisk
In 2013, Lucy and Hugh returned from a six-week holiday and resumed their 9 to 5 jobs whilst dreaming of an alternative. Shortly thereafter, they stumbled upon an advertisement for a small fudge making business based in Wooroloo. Just a few short weeks later they had purchased it and Lucy resigned from her day job as a public servant to make and sell fudge and other confectionery full time!
Since then, Lucy and Hugh have brought their own style to the look and feel of the business, and expanded into producing a range of other confectionery which are a delightful alternative to lollies for adults. They now craft smooth, chewy caramels, crunchy brittles, a gourmet white chocolate rocky road and two divine nut mixes. The four gourmet brittle flavours are now available to order online, along with our amazing smooth, chewy caramels, Chai and Salt Kissed.
All of the confectionery made by Golden Whisk is handcrafted in Perth, Western Australia by Lucy, using the finest ingredients to deliver delicious, different flavours and textures.
