Blockers centres on three parents who discover their teenagers make a pact to lose their virginity on prom night.
The three teenage girls make a great team and allow the sex-positive message to shine through. The parents are concerned, of course, that they aren’t going to make a big mistake with their first time.
There are plenty of unique and laugh out loud moments, with an original enough storyline to keep you interested. The beer chugging scene is unforgettable and hilarious.
The only downside is that some of the last few scenes are corny. It gets a bit bogged down in wrapping up the resolutions between each family.
Blockers is an above-average and funny film about parents and their teenagers coming to terms with this milestone towards adulthood.
Warning: crude and sexual content, and language throughout, drug content, teen partying, and some graphic nudity – as to be expected.
Blockers has a release date of Thursday 29th March 2018 around Australia.
