Hollywood movie star actor, producer, and restauranteur Mark Wahlberg has launched his family restaurant business Wahlburgers in Australia.

This was made possible in partnership with the Mustaca family who have built United Cinemas into Australia’s largest independent, family-owned owned cinema chain.

Wahlburgers Menu

Wahlburgers’ menu features delicious twists on your favourite American classics. You can start your meal with crispy fried pickles, spicy cheese and bacon potato tots, truffle fries, or buffalo chicken.

Of course, the burgers are the highlight so be tempted by the double-decker, BBQ bacon and classic beef burger. You can customize your burger with toppings like swiss cheese, pepper jack, blue cheese, white cheddar, smoked cheddar, crispy bacon, caramelized onion, onion rings, chili, sauteed mushrooms, avocado, or a fried egg. Gluten-free buns are available.

Mom’s favourites include housemade chilli with Wahl sauce and bacon mac ’n cheese.

If you want a light meal consider a chicken or crispy fish sandwich. Fans of salad can select between a marinated chicken salad or southern crispy chicken, classic cobb or caesar, salmon and roasted street corn salad.

There is a full bar with Wahlbrewski on tap and boozy shakes for the adventurous. Don’t forget there are housemade shakes in all of the popular flavours, and creamsicle or root beer floats.

If you’re after a sweet dessert consider a scoop or two of ice cream, or a cupcake to go.

Mark Wahlberg says, “I am excited to be working with the Mustaca family and bringing Wahlburgers to Australia. I love all the things we have in common especially family, film, restaurant experience and music. I’m really looking forward to visiting with my brothers and Wahlburgers co-founders, Chef Paul Wahlberg and Donnie Wahlberg.”

CEO of United Cinemas, Sam Mustaca says, “We are thrilled to bring Wahlburgers to Australia and New Zealand. We had been following the concept for years and with its natural ties to the entertainment industry, bringing Wahlburgers into the experience at United Cinemas just seemed like a perfect fit.  The first Wahlburgers is close to our United Cinemas Opera Quays and we plan to roll out 20 more as stand-alone restaurants as well as in some of our United Cinema locations in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane and New Zealand.  With really great food, beers and a fun atmosphere, we think it’s going to be a big hit.”

Did you know the first Wahlburgers in Australia is located near the Sydney Opera House with views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge?
