
This modern take on an Old Fashioned cocktail was developed using the award-winning Westward Whiskey. The sweet and salty taste is inspired by the flavours of Oregon, the home of Westward’s distillery.
True Northwest Recipe
Ingredients
60 mL Westward American Single Malt Whiskey
5mL raw liquid honey
A pinch of sea salt flakes
0.5 drop of Fee Brothers Old Fashion Aromatic Bitters
Garnish with a cherry
Instructions
- Pour the whiskey, honey, sea salt and bitters into a mixing glass and stir
- Pour into an Old-Fashioned Rocks glass on a large cube
- Garnish with a cherry
