When Fred Flarsky (Seth Rogen) reconnects with Charlotte Field (Charlize Theron) it’s a long shot that the two will last.
Fred still holds a flame for his previous babysitter and first crush. Charlotte is a successful diplomat who needs to hire a speechwriter. Their chance meeting leads to Charlotte hiring Fred as she prepares to make a run for Presidency.
Fred is unprepared for the fast-paced glamorous lifestyle in the limelight. Sparks fly between the two main characters as they try to find a workable relationship.
Long Shot is packed with lots of laughs and despite the predictable and cheesy ending – it’s still an enjoyable film.
Long Shot has an Australian release date of 2 May 2019.
