Italian Lane is an Italian restaurant bar hidden down an alleyway in the heart of Fortitude Valley.

There will be three different zones in the newly renovated space: a dedicated business area, restaurant space and outdoor laneway where DJs and acoustic music will play on Friday nights and weekends.

Be tempted by one of the eight pizzas cooked in the Italian wood-fired pizza oven. You can order a pizza with classic basil and oil, pepperoni and chilli, prosciutto and rocket, mortadella and pistachio, pork and fennel sausage and vegetarian. With gluten-free bases available.

The menu highlights include a large variety of charcuterie, rigatoni with guanciale, egg, pecorino and pepper, and beet-cured salmon with grape chutney and gin caviar.

There is a generous range of share plates from wood-fired bread, marinated olives, fries, soured qukes (cucumbers), arancini, meatballs, zucchini flowers, Italian salads are more.

The pasta menu ranges from lasagna with smoked brisket ragu, pappardelle, rigatoni and clam spaghetti.

The sweets menu has affogato, house-made tiramisu, seasonal meringue and donuts.

Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Function books available.

Opening date: 21 October 2022.
