I’ve just started watching White Lines on Netflix and immediately lusted after the laidback style of Zoe Walker (Laura Haddock). In the first season of the show, she’s looking for answers about the mysterious disappearance of her brother in Ibiza.
The Mediterranean landscape provides a lovely summer holiday feel to Zoe’s wardrobe. For the first couple of episodes, she wears a practical easy-to-care for capsule wardrobe.
Her hat is a paper or straw multicoloured fedora with a lovely wide-brim. You might like to buy an affordable Brooklyn Straw Fedora with a Cape May style or Punta Cana. The Calistoga is also nice. Don’t forget you can swap the hatband to a different colour (Zoe’s in a chocolate brown).
If you live locally, check the fedora hats from Brisbane Hatters and ask for the Panama hat ranges by Camilo Australia or the hatmakers Avenel of Melbourne.
She wears a classic white tee with dark stripes. You can achieve this look with either black or navy stripes. Later she wears a coral round neck singlet top and a marle grey U neck tee.
Her skirt is divine. She appears to have two versions of the same style. One is a brown stripy skirt with wooden buttons down the middle. She also wears a light blue denim skirt with white buttons down the middle.
Her shoes are a classic white lace-up. Think Phillippe Model Paris LD In Basic White, or your favourite pumps with a flat sole.
At night Zoe Walker adds a classic style denim jacket. This could be a Levi one.
She wears her outfits with fine gold jewellery. Her necklace is a round disc with an engraved star. She wears asymmetrical earrings, but think basic gold hoops.
Later on in the series, Zoe wears a plain white silk singlet top, with a navy jacket and a lovely teal blue long skirt with a high side slit. She adds a chocolate brown belt with a cute pair of tan suede ankle boots.
What do you think of Zoe Walker’s wardrobe? Would you wear something similar on your next overseas holiday?
