Pampelle is a ruby red grapefruit aperitif that is refreshing and is the perfect addition for your summer cocktail drinks. The taste is fresh and a little bittersweet but not tart. It’s the perfect combination of citrus and natural botanicals.
The aperitif was created on the banks of the River Charente in the Cognac region of France.
I’ve been enjoying a shot of pampelle in plain soda water and flavoured mineral waters. Anyone who enjoys Aperol will defiantly need to try pampelle.
Pampelle has a relatively low 15% ABV and 30% naturally lower in sugar than other leading aperitifs.
Luke Grima, General Manager of Think Brands says, “Aperitifs are increasingly favoured amongst Australians as a refreshing tipple on its own or as a flavourful ingredient in cocktails. Pampelle is an exciting aperitif for those looking for something naturally lower in sugar with a broader flavour profile. The colour and flavour makes you feel like you are watching lapping turquoise water and hearing the serene sounds of the French Riviera, and its sweetly bitter disposition will make every sip feel like the sun and the sea. This refreshing aperitif is the perfect cocktail for wanderlust, where it’s Summertime, anytime.”
