For each location, there is handy information on planning your trip, spots you can’t miss and suggested day trips. The author explains how best to get there, travel around, when to go and where to stay.
The Queensland section covers Brisbane, Minjerribah (North Stradbroke Island), The Gold Coast, K’gari (Fraser Island), Yunbenun (Magnetic Island), Bundaberg region, Tropical North Queensland, The Great Barrier Reef, The Whitsundays, Hamilton Island, Torres Strait Island and Outback Queensland.
There are highlighted trips on Alpine Nature Experience, Travelling on The Ghan, Sal Salis Nigaloo Reef, Top End Safari Camp and Bareboating in the Whitsundays.
I’m keen to explore Bruny Island, The Whitsundays, Lord Howe Island, Gariwerd (Grampians), Barossa Valley, Rottnest Island and the Margaret River.
