Tiller Coffee is a café located near the train line. Just lookout for the orange Uniglory shipping container at the top of the hill.
Tiller specializes in coffees including Brisbane’s Parallel Roasters and a rotating range of local single origins and blends. The lime green La Marzocco espresso machine takes pride of place.
They offer a range of filter coffees for V60 pour-over on the menu, which are made manually for each order.
The menu is modest but packed with flavour. Think fruit loaf, toast, banana bread, croissants, house-made coconut bircher. You can also be tempted by fried eggs on sourdough, bagels with gluten-free and vegan options available), avo on toast and falafel salad.
Tiller is owned and run by Charlie and Chris Grainger. Tiller was opened in September 2013 and has become a firm favourite for dine-in and takeaway coffee in the neighbourhood.
Tiller has opening hours are 6:30 am to 2:30 pm Monday to Friday, and 7:00 am to 12:00 on Saturday.
