The Milton Markets are held every Sunday from 6am to midday. With different hours over the winter months.
The farmers markets feature local fruit and vegetables, food stalls, gifts and handmade goods. There’s live music to listen to while you rest or enjoy some food.
You’ll be spoilt for choice with things to eat including Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Malaysian, Hong Kong dumplings, rosti, pizza, calamari, hot dogs and more. If you have a sweet tooth, be tempted by Turkish delight, donuts, cakes and pastries, and French crepes.
Enjoy drinking a fresh juice, smoothie, iced tea or an independent coffee.
You can buy groceries to take home including freshly baked bread, organic food, free range eggs, falafels, nuts, jerky and biltong, deli meats and salami. There’s usually a butcher and a fish monger.
Browse through the stalls selling clothes, jewellery and earrings, sunglasses, artwork, travel towels, plants and bunches of fresh flowers.
There are ATM machines and secure carparking nearby. The spot is within walking distance from the river, bus stops and Milton train station.
The markets can be busy and dogs are allowed on a leash.
