Lyle Lyle Crocodile is a feature film about a crocodile that lives in New York City.
The Primm family move to New York for a fresh start and a new job. But the son discovers there’s a singing crocodile living in the loft. He wins over the mother and gradually the father to become a part of the family.
However, the grumpy neighbour downstairs doesn’t like how things are going and calls a meeting. To complicate matters, his irresponsible owner turns up and hopes life will go back to how they were.
The songs are short and forgettable (fortunately you won’t be going home with an earworm!)
The story is based on a children’s book written by Bernard Waber first published in 1965.
Lyle Lyle Crocodile is fun and watchable and perfect for the holidays.
Australian release date Boxing Day 2022.
