If you are considering becoming a cigar aficionado, you may like to follow some of the advice from the experts. Smoking is an ideal way to relax after an evening out or while drinking a vintage port or scotch.

Here’s a useful guideline to buying the right cigar for your next party or celebration with your mates and brothers:

  • Panatellas: 5 to 6 inches, with a ring gauge 28 to 38
  • Coronas: 5.5. to 6 inches, ring gauge 42 to 44
  • Coronas Gordas: 5 to just over 6 inches, ring gauge 44 to 50
  • Robustos: 5.5. inches, ring gauge 50
  • Figurados: 6.5 inches, ring gauge 52 5o 54
  • Lonsdales: just under 7 inches, ring gauge 42
  • Double coronas: 7.5 to 8.5 inches, ring gauge 48 to 52
  • Churchills: 7 inches, ring gauge 48
