Gerard’s Bistro offers a menu inspired by fresh seasonal produce and Middle Eastern cuisines. The dishes are designed to be shared.
Executive Chef, Adam Wolfers has created a weekly a la carte menu to showcase the produce from local suppliers and farmers. Think Hispi cabbage skewer, tabil tahini and lime; Wood-fired bagel, sunflower hummus; Westholme wagyu bavette, smoked harissa; and Wood roasted Tiger prawns, labne whey.
The dishes are cooked on a custom-built wood-fired oven. Adam is dedicated to sustainability and zero-waste cooking. One highlight is his signature za’atar spice mix, which is the secret seasoning on many of the dishes.
Seating is available on the spacious front deck or inside. The extensive cocktail and premium spirits list is accompanied by a focused wine and beer selection that champions Australian producers and brewers.
Gerard’s Bistro’s first book ‘The Heart of Hospitality’ has been a collaboration with food writers Katrina Meynink and Adam Wolfers. It has been published by Somekind Press following a successful crowdfunding campaign.
Gerard’s Bistro offers private dining, catering and gift cards.
