Meet some of BITE Market’s Flavour Makers:
Zoe’s Brownies
Kallangur local, Teegan Kuenz, has been baking for five years and has recently added four new flavours to the already impressive range she has in the stable under the moniker, Zoe’s Brownies. At BITE she will be serving her brownies as a dessert plate with ice cream and other delicious sides. There will be 4 different plate options as well as her famous wrapped take-home brownies. Teegan caters for gluten free & dairy free requirements and has just introduced a vegan recipe.
Must Try: There are just too many options to choose from – Turkish Delight, Cookies & Cream, Rocky Road, Red Velvet, Snickers, Nutella, Salted Caramel! Stretchy pants recommended!
MITTE Berlin Street Food
With a mum with the surname ‘Gomersbach’… (try saying that 3 times after a German stein), and a passion for food, Mount Mee’s Suzanne Lang was always destined to celebrate her culinary heritage, and we are so thankful … introducing Mitte Berlin Street Food, exclusive to Bite Markets at North Harbour. The tasty brainchild of Suzanne and Brett Lang, Moreton Bay region locals who launched their first street food stalls when they lived in New York in 2010, Mitte is a tribute to their favourite food borough in Berlin of the same name…. think crispy chips covered in mayonnaise served in a paper cone, freshly baked pretzels, ‘curry wurst’ (smoked sausage served with fries and slathered in curry sauce), home-made pickles, Oma’s famous potato salad, bratwurst, chilli knackwurst and cheese kransky, home-made rolls, sensational sauerkraut and onions. And apple strudels!
Must Try:
Amsterdam-style ‘Oorlog’ Fries (double fried fries, peanut sauce, chopped onion, mayonnaise, served in a paper cone). Diet? What diet??
Don Quijote Paella and Tapas
