Biome Collective Workshops

The Biome Collective Space is located next to the Biome shop in Paddington.

I attended the Seasonal pickling workshop, where we learnt an easy no-fuss recipe. The class included seasonal vegetables, herbs, locally produced vinegar and two canning glass bottles.

Pickles are an ideal method for reducing food waste. You just need to bring a chopping board and knife from home. The ticket price includes 10% off Biome in-store purchases on the day.

Biome Collective holds regular workshops including gourmet mushroom cultivation, recycled fabric coil baskets and rugs, DIY skincare, DIY cleaning products, look weaving and more.

About Biome Collective Space

The Biome Collective is located in Biome’s flagship Paddington store at 2 Latrobe Terrace, Paddington QLD. The space was designed for the community to learn, make and share what moves us towards a sustainable and healthy future. We host a large range of workshops and events in the space every month. These range from DIY natural skincare and cleaning workshops to author events and sustainability demonstrations.

You can view the full range of workshops here https://www.biome.com.au/1041-diy-workshops
