Bear Bones has a modern warehouse feel with industrial style furniture and a coffee roaster out the back. I adore the colourful geometric painting on the feature wall, which complements the coffee branding (artwork is by local artist Andy Harwood).
Bear Bones is based on the philosophy of good services and good coffee. They are able to provide a complete traceability from the grower of the bean back to the coffee you drink.
The café roasts their own beans and they source beans from many different countries like Kenya, Ethiopia, Guatemala and Costa Rica. They use Maleny milk. You could also order a cold drink like Karma organic soft drinks and milkshakes or an organic tea by Camellia.
The café services breakfast and lunch with homemade cakes. The display cabinet has the daily offerings, which change frequently. There are gluten-free options available.
You can purchase your coffee to take home as whole beans or ground coffee to your specifications. They also stock coffee equipment like Aeropress, Hario Café Press, travel mugs and more.
The café is blessed with knowledgeable staff who provided us with warm friendly service.
Highly recommended.
