28 by Sam Wood is a complete health and fitness program by The Bachelor favourite. His successful online program has now been published as a handy book.
The first chapter introduces the 28 program which is based on sustainable lifestyle changes. It is guided by the motto of progress not perfection.
The book is packed with 100 recipes developed by Sam in partnership with nutritionist Steph Lowe. The cooking section has been divided into breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. Be tempted by breakfast pizza, bacon and egg burritos, coconut fish and sweet potato chips, coconut chai latte, nutty bliss balls, and peanut butter sweet potato brownies.
The fitness section has illustrated exercises for your daily 28 minutes of movement. These can be adapted to 5 different fitness levels. The best part is that no gym membership is needed. There are a couple of testimonial success stories at the back.
The program works because Sam has many years of hands-on experience in personal training, the recipes can be adapted to suit different tastes and dietary requirements, and there is an emphasis on a holistic approach based on the importance of psychology in embracing lasting change.
28 by Sam Wood is available from your favourite bookshop.
