Yo-Chi is a popular frozen yogurt company where you can create a custom dessert. Yo-Chi Brisbane has just opened on Albert Street. This follows the successful launch of Queensland stores in Noosa and Broadbeach.
How to Make Your Own Frozen Yogurt
Just grab a container and then fill it up with your favourite frozen yogurt flavour. You can select vanilla, chocolate, strawberry yogurt and more. These base flavours include the signature tart flavour and seasonal options like mango, taro and coconut.
Handy Tip: You can try different frozen yogurt flavours – two in one container is optimal unless you have a firm favourite.
Yo-Chi Toppings
Then take your container to the toppings counter. Here you can ask for different ingredients to be added on top. Toppings range from sliced fresh fruit, sweets and sauces.
Think organic chocolate soil, choc chip edible cookie dough (vegan), chocolate fudge brownie, chocolate chunk cookie cake, mini M&Ms, Bischoff spread, chocolate covered Goji berries, milk chocolate drops, white chocolate drops, chocolate bullets, Maltesers, Mars Pods, Kit Kat, or Oreos.
Fresh fruit toppings include fresh watermelon and mint, strawberries, pineapple, bananas and caramel, oranges, rockmelon (cantaloupe), kiwi fruit, grapes, lychees and mango.
If you’re feeling adventurous try blueberry fruit pearls, strawberry mochi (rice treats), lychee fruit pearls, mango fruit pearls, strawberry fruit pearls, kiwi fruit pearls, mango mochi, or sour spaghetti.
If you’re after a breakfast-inspired meal select your favourite fruit, granola, cornflake crunch, or zebra coconut (coconut chips drizzled with dark chocolate).
Then consider a nut option like almonds, hazelnuts, honey-roasted cashews or organic Halva (sesame seeds sweet).
Sauces include raspberry coulis, passionfruit and lemon curd, blueberry compote, boysenberry, blackcurrant and apple compote, dark chocolate sauce, chocolate sauce, white chocolate sauce
Finish your creation with a statement topping like a Biscoff biscuit, chocolate-covered pretzels or a wafer disc. Your froyo dreams are complete.
Yo-Chi Price
Then you need to weigh and pay for your self-serve frozen yogurt. It’s just AUD$3.60 for 100 grams. I half-filled mine to try it out to see if I liked it, and the cost came in under $10.
Collaborations and Seasonal Menu Items
The store has regular collaborations with famous chefs to create personal limited-edition toppings and dessert options. Yo-Chi has collaborated with MasterChef guest judge Darren Purchese, who created a decadent red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting and chocolate glaze for September.
Unicorn week will see in-store activities, social media competitions and specialty toppings from 26 September to 9 October 2022.
Yo-Chi has previously collaborated with Pierrick Boyer. Look out for upcoming partnerships including Anna Polyviou and Kirsten Tibballs.
Yo-Chi Brisbane is an amazing experience where you can make your own premium yoghurt with tempting custom toppings.
