Move over kombucha, kefir is in town. Here is my list of Brisbane stockists of kefir.
Babushka’s Kefir
Babushka’s Kefir is one of the original makers of Kefir in Australia. They sell a dairy and coconut version (unfortunately not dairy-free). A cup contains over 120 billion live and active cultures – so start off with a tablespoon and build up your tolerance slowly. Smooth and well-balanced.
Babushka is Russian for grandmother, [and] is named after the women that identify K’efir as the reason for their longevity.
Available in Woolworths. Look out for their range of probiotic yogurt cheese, probiotic yogurt smoothies, almond milk yogurt and frozen kefir yogurt.
