Here’s our list of places in Australia to buy your chocolate Easter Eggs:
Aldi has a range of ceramic mugs and eggs (think Star Wars, Frozen, Avengers) and breakfast sets (think Peppa Pig, Peter Rabbit, Paw Patrol). Look out for the cute Kinder Surprise bunnies and the Maltesers mini eggs.
Big W has a large range of Easter eggs and bunnies from Lindt, Darrel Lea, Cadbury, Red Tulip and Ferrero Rocher. My personal favourite is the Nestle After Eight mint flavoured bunny. For football fans, you’ll want to look out for the NRL supersized chocolate football.
Chocolab lets you personalize a 3D Easter Egg with a message plaque, or you can create a chocolate bar with all of your favourite flavours.
Chocolate Box have a selection of chocolate bilbies, foiled chocolate bunnies and rabbits, cheeky little chocolate chicks. They have partnered with Save the Bilby Fund whose vision is to save the bilby from extinction in our lifetime. A percentage of all Easter bilby chocolate sales will be donated to the fund.
Coco88 sell photo-worthy hundreds and thousands smash eggs and freckled easter eggs. I’m lusting after their hot cross biscuits, caramel marshmallow eggs, and hot cross marshmallow domes. Their fried eggs look photo-worthy – sunny side up marshmallows and green eggs and jam. Kids will love the almond Easter pebbles and cute eggmojis in various flavours. If you have a large family, you’ll want to order a family Easter hamper with something for everyone.
Drakes stock Lindt gold bunnies, Cadbury classic bunnies, bags of mini eggs and Cadbury Crème egg, Red Tulip Egg Crates, Darrell Lea Easter Hunting eggs, Kinder Maxi Mix Bunny ears and Ferrero eggs. Look out for the cute Ferrero Rocher squirrels.
Koko Black has a decadent range of Easter goodies. There is a vegan-friendly range, a couple of cute Aussie critters (koala, platypus, penguin) and Easter Eggs. We’re trying the Boozy Bunny Dark Hamper this year, which contains espresso martinis and dark easter bunnies.
Loving Earth has introduced crème-filled Easter Eggs in raspberry mylk and mint dark with a silky fresh mint crème. These have no inverted sugars, glucose or stabilizers. Available from your local health shop and via the Loving Earth online shop.
Target’s Easter range includes sleepwear, home decoration and gifts ideas. The Peter Rabbit plus is way cute. There is a wide range of bunnies and chocolate eggs from Ferrero Kinder, Lindt, Cadbury, Red Tulip, Wizz Fizz. Look out for the Save the Bilby chocolate bilbies – a native Australian animal whose habitat is under threat.
