Lulu, the rescued French Bulldog inspires a fundraising book to celebrate the Funny Face Dogs of Brisbane!
Local Brisbane Pet Photographer, Kelly Miller of Hairypants Photography has announced the launch of a fundraising book project to celebrate the Funny Face Dogs of Brisbane, whilst raising much needed funds for local rescue groups Pug SOS, Fresh Start Rescue and Safe Haven Animal Rescue. She is looking for a minimum of 50 local dogs with uniquely funny faces to create a coffee table book due for publication early next year.

The book was inspired by her own rescue dog Lulu, who’s funny face, with its epic underbite and wonky ears, brings a smile to everyone she meets. Lulu was rescued from a puppy farm in 2017 and has since become a much loved member of Kelly’s family.

Registrations for the book are open with photo shoots taking place over the coming few months. Kelly is looking for Funny Face Dogs of all kinds to take part in the book project.
50% of the registration fee plus 100% of the profits from the first print run of the book will go directly to the project’s partner rescue groups (please note the other 50% of the registration amount pays Kelly’s assistant, she is not taking a fee for these photo shoots).

Here’s our interview with Kelly Miller from Hairy Pants Photography.
Registrations are now open: Funny Faces book online registration
