Suitcase Rummage is held around Australia, with Brisbane holding one on the first and third Sunday of every month. Look out for pop up rummages at other locations.
They are held on the flat concrete space near the Brisbane City library. Sellers can bring one or two suitcases full of goods to sell.
You’ll find lots of second-hand clothing and shoes. Many items have a flat rate of $5 or $10, otherwise sometimes the prices are marked.
You might find new items like cute socks and jewellery. When I visited, I saw handmade candles, pin badges, tie dye tees. There were retro toys and collectables, and second hand comics and books.
There were two sellers with lots of beautiful handmade crochet and knitted goods.
Please note there is no change room, so make sure you take a measuring tape.
