Nestled in the beauty of nature is the capital city of Queensland, Brisbane. Along with an amazing coastline and ancient rainforests, this earliest-established Australian city has also been identified by many as a hub for arts & culture, and an emerging destination for fine dining and wine-ing. In this blog post, we’ve got some premium wineries (Cuz what could be better than saying cheers in the backdrop of a serene & beautiful view!) that are a must-visit if you happen to be around the city.

Ocean View Estate

Located just outside Brisbane, amongst the beautiful Mt Mee hills, Ocean View Estate is everything we would picture our weekend to be. From the amazing restaurant managed by well-known chef, Joel Grudnoff, to unforgettable experiences like a picnic in the vines or helicopter tours—this estate has a lot more to offer! That said, their range of award-winning wines still win the highlight. And as if that was not enough, a part of the estate is dedicated to the production of craft beer too. Enchanting views, good food, drinks and accomodation, what else could one ask for?! http://oceanviewestates.com.au/

Sirromet Winery

Just an hour drive away from the city centre, Sirromet is a family-owned winery that has won over 900 awards. There could be nothing worse for a wine aficionado than leaving the city without sampling one of Sirromet beauties; book your visit ASAP! From its beautiful location overlooking Stradbroke and Moreton Bay to weekend live entertainment sessions and their amazing menu, this place can only be best described as a piece of paradise! https://www.sirromet.com/

Witches Falls Winery

As unique as its name, Witches Fall is a small yet bold winery in Mount Tamborine. You’d be guided through their cellar door by a knowledgeable team and meanwhile, you can simply enjoy relishing their extensive range of premium wines. Book now; where else could you find such an amazing experience at just $6 (It includes tasting their classic flight, a selection of 6 Granite range wines). You can also create your own cheese platter from a range of locally-produced handmade Jambreen Cheeses. Enjoy a laid-back time in their lush garden with your DIY cheese board and a glass of your fav wine. Sounds like a perfect plan! https://witchesfalls.com.au/

Kooroomba Vineyard And Lavender Farm

A 2-hour drive is all worthed if it takes you to the land of lavenders. This beautiful winery in Mount Alford is much more than just wines! A picture-perfect place, it has it all—lush vineyards, an extensive cellar door, an amazing restaurant with highly-experienced Daniel Groneberg as the head chef, and beautiful lavender farms. https://www.kooroomba.com.au/

O’Reilly’s Canungra Valley Vineyards

Set amidst the charm of the Canungra Valley, O’Reilly’s Vineyards is a stunning place that beholds great experiences for all its visitors. This beautiful property includes vineyards, cellar door and homestead, and is located along the Canungra Creek. Enjoy a delicious lunch at their vintage restaurant. If you are a picnic person then you may also grab one of their picnic baskets which consists of everything you would need; enjoy a lazy day just outside the creek with their gourmet products and a bottle of fine wine. https://oreillys.com.au/canungra-valley-vineyards/
