Missing follows a daughter looking for her mother after she disappears on an overseas holiday with a new boyfriend.
June is a very tech-savvy teenager who’s more interested in her friends and partying, than talking to her nagging mother.
Her mother goes to Colombia with a guy she’d just met online. But after a week, when she doesn’t turn up at the airport for collection, June becomes worried.
The film promises that no one disappears without a trace. June uses her online research skills to stay ahead of the reluctant police. You might learn a thing or two about how easily we can be tracked and traced.
The film kept me guessing throughout and wasn’t predictable. The tension was good and it climaxed perfectly.
I enjoyed Missing more than Searching, and it was surprisingly better than I expected.
