McDonald’s raises $1.1 million for seriously ill or injured children through large coffee purchases in Queensland and Northern Territory

McDonald’s restaurants across Queensland and Northern Territory have raised over $1.1 million for Ronald McDonald House Charities North Australia and South East Queensland by donating 10c from every large coffee purchase in 2022.

All funds raised will help RMHC continue to support seriously ill or injured children and their families while undergoing treatment or surgery in a hospital, by providing access to programs such as the Ronald McDonald Houses, Family Rooms, Family Retreats, and Ronald McDonald Learning Program.

In 2023, Macca’s restaurants in QLD and NT will continue to donate 10c from every large coffee purchase to RMHC, with a goal of raising over $1.2 million.

McDonald’s restaurants across QLD and NT have donated 10c from every large coffee since 2021 raising over $2.3 million for RMHC.

Since 1981, Macca’s has been a Founding Partner of RMHC, raising over $61 million through McHappy Day and $9 million through 10c from every 600 mL bottle of water sold nationally.
