Mint Julep Cocktail Recipe
Ingredients:
- 60ml Bourbon – Joel recommends Buffalo Trace Bourbon Whiskey 700ml
- 5ml Sugar Syrup (demerara sugar works best)
- A handful of mint leaves
- Crushed ice
Method
- Clap mint leaves to release oils and drop them into a julep cup.
- Add Bourbon, Sugar and half fill with crushed ice.
- Churn the crushed ice to mix together the sugar, whiskey and mint.
- Fill to the brim with more crushed ice. Garnish with a mint sprig.
