John Wick 4 has set a new standard in this popular martial arts action franchise.
He wants a seat at the High Table and revenge. But he’s not the only one.
A tracker called Mr Nobody runs interferences with his loyal dog. While Assassin Caine (Donnie Yen) is determined to free his daughter – his Blindness won’t stop him.
The scenery is a joy to view. John travels from New York City, to Osaka, Japan, then to Paris, France.
Once the call has been made, there’s no let up in the fighting and tension. The French want him dead – if only he could escape the nightmare of the Arc de Triomphe.
The fighting on the stairs scene is phenomenal. It all culminates in a duel supervised by Marquis (the magnetic but evil Bill Skarsgård).
The directing by Chad Stahelski is first class – you can see his background as a stuntman shines through.
An array of different weapons is used – from guns, bows and arrows, and nunchakus to swords. There’s a ridiculously high body count – so don’t do shots when someone dies!
But is John Wick 4 really the end?
