The Queensland Museum was the first Australian museum to host NASA – A Human Adventure, the most comprehensive and extensive touring space flight exhibition in the world.
It will cover the
Highlights of the NASA Exhibition:
- several space-flown items remarkable and a collection of space suits
- skylab objects and several full-scale replicas including the front section of NASA’s iconic Space Shuttle, Apollo Lunar Module cockpit
- a Lunar Rover, Mercury, Gemini and Apollo space crafts and Soviet robotic lunar rover Lunokhod.
Key Dates of the Queensland NASA Exhibition:
- 20-24 March 2019: World Science Festival Brisbane
- 20 July 2019: 50th Anniversary Moon landing
- 10 -18 August 2019: National Science Week
- 5 October 2019: World Space Week
