The Briefs boys are back from the future to once again blur the lines of masculinity and femininity with their latest show, Close Encounters.
Bending expectations and the rules of common decency, the Brisbane troupe bring their all in an orgy of aerial performances, left-of-center comedy, razor-sharp social commentary, and stimulating burlesque (or boylesque, as is the case).
Featured as part of the Melt Festival, a celebration of all that is wonderful within the LGBTI+ community, Briefs dares you to take a ride into outer space – and after the 75 glorious minutes you’ve travelled with them, I can guarantee you won’t want to return to Earth.
