Kingpin Chermside is a fun spot packed with arcade games, ten-pin bowling , laser tag, table tennis, karaoke, and virtual reality games. There is also escape rooms and a fully licensed bar.
We played ten-pin bowling first and then tried two virtual reality games. Afterwards, we tried the arcades where my friend won a fluffy toy on and I gained lots of points to spend on the prizes section. We were both rusty at basketball and killing zombies.
Kingpin Food and Drinks
The food menu includes mac and cheese burgers, signature burgers with double beef patties, New York city street hot dog, Pulled Memphis style BBQ beef brisket nachos, crispy pork belly sliders, or signature smoky hot BBQ sauce wings.
Vegetarians can try the hipster burgers, popcorn tofu, halloumi chips, guacamole and corn chips with pico de gallo, Mexican cheese nachos, Margherita pizza or a roasted pumpkin and quinoa salad.
There is a kid’s menu with hotdogs, crispy fried chicken, Hawaiian pizza and junior cheeseburger.
If you’re after something sweet, there are picture-perfect shakes and injectable donuts, or a king sundae with 6 scoops of ice cream and ample toppings!
There is an extensive range of classic, specialty, and seasonal cocktails. We also have a variety of wines, beers, and spirits. I enjoyed a non-alcoholic blood orange spritz, but I’m keen to go back and try a tricked-out Long Island Iced Tea, Royal Espresso Martini, or an apple beltini.
You can enjoy free WiFi and listen to your favourite music via the Crowd DR kiosks.
The off-peak weekday tickets are more affordable. With discounts available for students, pensioners, and PWAD on weekday prices before 4 pm.
It’s the ideal spot for hosting a party or event.
