Kenilworth Dairies History
Our famous cheese factory was built in the 1950s by the Kraft Corporation. The factory closed in the late 1980s. It was then reopened by a group of former employees. The factory became an icon for locally hand-crafted original cheeses created from traditional family recipes. The Cochrane family, who has been intimately involved in the Queensland Dairy industry now carry on that legacy. With over 100 years of experience, the family carry on the tradition of “udderly delicious” dairy products here at Kenilworth.
