Here are some ideas for hosting a Brisbane Broncos Party in the comfort of your own home.
NRL Party Catering
You’ll need to nominate someone ahead of time to walk or drive to your local takeaway joint. I’m recommending Maccas, Hungry Jacks or Red Rooster.
Throw a carton of beers on ice in the bathtub. (But don’t hide them in the dishwasher!)
Add some Byron Bay or Doritos corn chips to a couple of bowls. Mash up an avocado for a dip or buy a couple of tubs. Don’t forget some Smith’s Crisps. You’ll be good to go for snacks.
Brisbane Broncos NRL Jelly Dessert Recipe
You might want to mix up some Yellow and Maroon Jelly, with some chopped seasonal fruit and some whipped cream. Dessert is sorted.
NRL Party Decorations
Stack your yellow and maroon napkins around the living room.
NRL Brisbane Broncos Football Club Theme Song
P.S. Why are the halftime songs so daggy?
NRL Party Dress Code
Don your team’s jersey or cap. If you want to impress, then just make it a solid polo or a fun breakfast shirt. Only sponsors, management and nobs wear a jacket and tie to a rugby league game!
Bonus points for anything by Trade Mutt. Bonus points for a full mullet.
NRL Boss
NRL Chief Executive Andrew Abdo said it was an exciting finish to the 2023 regular season.
“The final positions in the top eight came down to the last match,” Mr Abdo said.
“That is [a] testament to the competitiveness of the Premiership and the extraordinary football the players and Clubs have produced all season.
“More than 3.7 million people attended NRL games this season. That’s the highest total in NRL history. The average crowd for the regular season ended 20 per cent higher than last season.
“More than 128 million people have watched our games this season, making Rugby League the most watched sport in the country on television by overall numbers.
