The Christmas Postcards by Karen Swan is her latest novel for the Christmas season.

For Natasha and Rob to re-kindle their romance and repair their marriage, their holiday in the Maldives
had been a make-or-break time. Natasha and Rob’s attempt to mend their relationship is short-lived,
however, when their daughter, Mabel’s, much-loved toy cow, Moola, is lost as they journey home.

Natasha, unable to comfort an overwrought Mabel, decides to turn to social media to help find the toy.

She is both amazed and relieved when Moola is found. Unfortunately, Duffy, the man who has found her,
couldn’t be more inaccessible as he is trekking in the Himalayas. AND Moola has become his lucky
mascot!

Duffy, however, keeps his promise to Natasha and Mabel by sending photos of Moola as they continue
their travels. Mabel is delighted and looks forward to Moola’s latest adventures. Natasha and Duffy,
however, are becoming more emotionally involved as the correspondence continues. Natasha begins to
feel closer to this complete stranger than she does to the man she married.

As time passes, Duffy climbs higher up the mountain range where hidden dangers lurk for the unwary
traveller. He is on a mission, however, and needs to find redemption.

Natasha becomes aware of the change in Duffy and also in her own life, and she begins to question
certain aspects of her marriage.

Then one day, the messages from Duffy stop!

Will he and Moola be lost forever?

Another wonderful, heart-wrenching novel from this well-read author who never disappoints.

Karen Swan’s Christmas novels are always a great read and are not only full of romance and adventure but also relevant to the close relationships we humans form.

Whether it be family, friends or those we meet briefly on the journey through life, there is always a story
to tell and often a twist to the tale!
