The return of Sydney’s Mardi Gras Festival this month is a much anticipated dazzling event, a
powerful protest and glittering celebration of diversity.

Event preparations are in full swing for the 44th year with so much LGBTQI+ history to be
celebrated in Australia, in that spirit Australian Craft distillers LegacySpirit Distilling Co unveiled
their Pride Gin today to celebrate the LGBTQI+ community, its strength, and its beauty just in time
for the Mardi Gras Festivities.

Pride Gin is a wonderful blend of lavender with notes of rose bursting out, rounded out by ginger,
cinnamon, and citrus notes. Perfect served on the rocks with fresh citrus and icy cold tonic.
Founders and friends Serena Ryan and Glenn Taylor are known for pushing boundaries in
distilling, their signature gin Marie created as a legacy to Serena’s Mum and winning global
awards in the industry just 18 months since launch.

Serena shared her passion to create a Pride Gin “As a member of the LGBTQI+ community I
wanted to produce a gin that was polished, sassy, and beautiful, just like our community. Mardi
Gras is not just a month of partying, it’s also a celebration of our diversity and fight for equality and
visibility”

Glenn is also a proud community ally and together the two have created this cracker of a gin that
will sit proudly on the shelves of bars and bottle shops around Australia.
