Terminator blasted back onto the big screen with lots of thrills and big-budget special visual effects.
Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton return, and reunite with producer James Cameron. If you have seen the other two in the series, you’ll know that it’s all about stopping the killing machines.
There’s really not much to the storyline – no surprise twists or anything complicated. It’s a classic goodies vs the badies type of film. Extra points for having three tough-ass women in lead roles, with Linda joined with Mackenzie Davis and Natalia Reyes.
It’s over the top action on trains, planes and underwater.
Some of the scenes created are pretty impressive, and this is why you should see it in cinemas.
4.5 stars.
