So Delish is the second book by kiwi Simone Anderson. This is primarily a cookbook that is divided into breakfast, lunch, platters, dinner, snacks and treats sections.
There is an entertaining platter which serves 10-12 people, with a list of suggested food (aka recipes) and a full colour example to illustrate. I’d like the couples’ platter this weekend (shame hubby doesn’t read my book reviews), or the mezze platter at my next job.
Be tempted by recipes for lamb kebabs with herb salad and asparagus, roast chicken and feta salad, bunless burgers; broccoli balls; parmesan, ricotta and eggplant involtini.
We cooked the kale chips and one of the pizzas. We tried the breakfast bowl but had to swap around a few of the ingredients with what we had in the cupboard. I’m keen to try carrot fries and peanut butter and cacao nib protein cookies when I have some more time.
So Delish! is a modern recipe cookbook packed with illustrated recipes.
