We’ve been tasting all of the Australian rose cider at our local bottle shop. Here are our thoughts.

Kopparberg – Rose Hard Cider
Kopparberg make a range of different cider flavours including pear, raspberry, mixed fruit, blueberry and lime, strawberry and lime, and naked apple.
The rose hard cider contains preservatives and sulphates. The label is pale purple with two red apples. 8.3% alcohol. 3 stars.
Strongbow – Blossom Rose – Sparkling Apple Cider
This cider has a pretty pink label with apples and white flowers. The recipe was inspired by apple blossoms. It’s a delicate balance of handpicked apples and a splash of elderberry wine. It is then fermented with wine yeast.
Serve chilled in a wine glass, and garnish with a strawberry. Ideal food matches are Kingfish carpaccio, light pasta or risotto, fresh chicken salad. 8.2% alcohol. 3.5 stars
