Review: Golden Grind’s Turmeric Hot Drinks

Golden Grind has released a range of hot warming drinks featuring turmeric. This superfood is renowned for its anti-inflammatory health and warming properties. All of these products contain black pepper to ensure that you receive the maximum benefits from the turmeric.

Here are our thoughts on these drinks:

Golden Grind – Turmeric Latte Blend

The Golden Grind turmeric latte blend is a great alternative to coffee. This warming turmeric drink also contains organic cinnamon, ginger and black pepper for a great tasting drink.

Did you know that turmeric and ginger and both strong, natural anti-inflammatory ingredients? This blend is created to help bring about relaxation, restoration and nurture your digestive tract. The black pepper in the blends helps the body to absorb the turmeric and has been documented to help in doing so by over 2000%. The cinnamon in this blend is great for blood health and may lower blood sugar levels.

Just add half a teaspoon to your favourite hot milk or mylk (dairy alternative). It’s caffeine free, vegan and has no added sugar. Winner of Australia’s best beverage product 2017.

Golden Grind x Calmer Sutra Golden Chai

The Golden Chai is a collaboration with Calmer Sutra. This is a dandelion and chicory chai with turmeric and ginger.

This chai uses rice malt syrup rather than honey to create a wet/sticky chai blend. There is the perfect blend of aromatic spices like turmeric, cinnamon, cardamom, star anise, nutmeg, fennel, cloves and black pepper. This makes it caffeine-free, vegan and fructose-free.

These nurturing ingredients have great health properties: ginger (boosts immunity), dandelion root (organ support), chicory root (gut health prebiotic), and turmeric (eases inflammation) to give you the ultimate wellness boosting brew.

There are some handy instructions on how to brew up your chai in a saucepan for maximum flavour (on the back of the packet).

Golden Grind – Healthy Hot Chocolate

The healthy hot chocolate is my favourite Golden Grind product. You can add half a teaspoon to your favourite hot milk, or add it to smoothies and desserts. The product contains superfood spices including organic turmeric, curcumin, organic cinnamon and organic black pepper.

This hot chocolate blend may help to boost your body’s antioxidant levels and reduce free radical damage. In addition, the ingredients in this blend may help to reduce sugar cravings. It’s made with 100% organic ingredients and is vegan friendly. The packet makes around 40 serves and is great for kids.

Just be careful to clean up quickly afterwards, as turmeric can stain clothes, kitchenware and benchtops.

Enjoy. Be bliss. Be present. Be Golden.

Golden Grind is Aussie owned and all products are Aussie made.

About Golden Grind

The systems and cultures we draw facts from, proof from, wisdom from, are old, established and proven. Ayurvedic, Chinese, African, Indigenous medical systems have all helped to shape our foundations and our products.

And then of course, there’s family. That’s exactly what we are. We are a small family based in Melbourne who are all passionate about health and love more than anything, sharing a meal around the dinner table. And that’s where it all starts, with family. That’s where Golden Grind was born and that’s our why. The joy of seeing our business grow and succeed has been so much sweeter because it was all us, family. It’s pure passion and our goal has always been to help people live their lives fully. To make people healthier, and happier. To improve the longevity, not only of our family, but of yours as well.

Why we do what we do.

We wanted to create natural medicines that are personalised and that fit easily into busy lives. Products that positively impact the quality and longevity of our lives. We’ve been doing just that for over 5 years now.

The positive feedback we’ve received over the years is one of the reasons we are so committed to this. We know what works. We are constantly evolving, as individuals and as business owners, to make sure we’re always offering you the very best we can.

Nothing is done, no decision is made, without hours and hours of scientific research being completed. We have some of the country’s best working alongside us in doing that.

But it’s not all about science. What we do has to be sustainable, it has to be for the greater good. We are preparing the world for the generations to come and Golden Grind wants to be a part of the positive impact we can make.

We have evolved and we are so excited to share our new products with you. We’ve been working on this for years and we know you’re going to love it! We’re reimagining the relationship you have with your health. We heal, prevent and cure. Naturally.

Golden Grind also offers an industry first tailored approach suited to individual needs which includes a virtual consultation and custom blend made just for you by industry professionals.
