Kiss the Berry is well known for its beautiful and healthy acai bowls.
The shop had humble beginnings as a market stall and has recently expanded to include three locations in Brisbane and on the coast. Kiss the Berry was founded by Sarah Miller and Keziah Bossley.
The best-selling Original bowl is packed with organic acai, banana, strawberries and apple juice and topped with locally sourced honey and fresh fruit. Another popular dish is the Snickers Delight bowl with acai, banana, raw cacao, almond butter, almond milk and coconut milk.
The menu offers superfood smoothies and seasonal specials. They also introduced Australia’s first acai soft serve in collaboration with Cocowhip.
The coffee is supplied by Blackboard roasters with Maleny Dairies milk. Alternative milk like almond, soy milk or lactose-free is also offered. There are also gluten-free, refined sugar-free and vegan options (perfect for those with intolerances).
Tip: Açaí (Pronounced AH-SIGH-EE) is a little purple berry found in the Amazon rainforest of Brazil. It tastes like chocolate, red wine and raspberries.
The cafe is open for breakfast and lunch with a special menu just for kids.
Kiss the Berry is my personal favourite place to go for a healthy and super delicious acai bowl.
