Kebab Kulture is a fresh take on the typical kebab stop. The healthy menu covers different flavours from various counties and cultures. You’ll enjoy your kebab wrapped in unleavened Lavash flatbread with homemade family-recipe sauces.
The menu has a range of different kebabs, bowls with meat, salad, chips and sauce, HSPC and hot chips. Be tempted by the original with lamb, onion, tomato, paprika and garlic sauce. Go Aussie with lamb, onion, tomato, parsley, paprika, pickles, tomato and garlic sauce. I’m keen to try the Mediterranean with lamb, feta cheese and hot chips, or the works with the Multicultural packed with chicken, lamb, two cheese, pickles, hot chips and more.
Vegetarians can try the veggie kebab with a vegetarian fritter (zucchini, potato, carrot, onion), tomato, feta cheese, hot chips and tzatziki, or a freshly made Mediterranean Salad.
If you like loaded chips, then order a HSP (Halal Snack Pack) with hot chips, topped with chicken or lamb and sauces.
The venue celebrates the hip-hop culture with modern art on the walls by local artists, The Graffiti Collective. Look out for Dre, Snoop, Tupac and Biggie. Munch on your freshly made kebab and transport yourself to the streets of L.A.
Kebab Kulture was created by Josh Gencerler, who owns one of Brisbane’s favourite Turkish restaurants – Ahmet’s Restaurant in Southbank.
“We love the era of 90s hip hop and we love making food that’s soulful and wholesome, so we combined to two to bring something fun, fresh, casual and cultural to the Brisbane food scene. We use higher quality ingredients and cuts like lamb shoulder and back strap and also free-range chicken. We have something for everyone, whatever your dietaries or lifestyle”, says Josh.
“We want to bring a fun experience of our kebabs to as many people as we can,” says Josh.
Kebab Kulture is now open Monday to Wednesday, 9am-6pm, Thursday and Friday, 9am-9pm, Saturday 11am-8pm.
