Bundjalung Community Flood Relief – by Koori Mail
The Bundjalung Community Flood Relief by Koori Mail is raising funds for much-needed supplies for Bundjalung rural and isolated communities affected by recent floods. Koori Mail is a fortnightly national indigenous newspaper based in Lismore. The newspaper is owned by five Bundjalung Aboriginal organisations whose communities have all been directly impacted. The St Vincent de Paul Society in Australia has more than 60,000 members and volunteers, who work hard to assist people in need and combat social injustice across Australia. The Salvation Army
The Salvation Army Emergency Services Team and volunteers are in full operation across evacuation centres in QLD and NSW providing meals and emotional support to emergency workers and people escaping from the floodwaters.
