Brisbane’s first Holey Moley mini golf course is located in Warner Street, Fortitude Valley. There are two courses, each with 9 holes – so you can do one or the other, or both to make it 18 holes.

You’ll enter the magnificent old church, and head to the right door. Pay at the far end of the bar. You’ll be given a token for your branded golf ball, and you can select the right size putter.

This is our full walkthrough of the Holey Moley Fortitude Valley golf course. Here are our exclusive tips and tricks to get you winning.

Bottom Floor Course: Pickupya Club

Hole 1 – Sorry Ms Jackon (I am Surreal)

Beware of the clock hands – I got stuck trying to get past them. Par 2

Hole 2 – Peg Norman*

On this hole, follow the instructions and place the ball above the number 2. Then swing the red putter to hit your ball and send it on its way. The ball will wiggle down. You will need to adjust your score with no change, or plus or minus one. * Score determined by the tray.

Hole 3 – Children of the Pawn

Here you’ll enter a dark room and this hole will be on your left. Putt your way around the oversized chessboard and try to avoid the chess pieces. Par 3

Hole 4 – Baby’s Got Pac

This is a cute pac-man themed green. Aim your ball straight into Pac’s mouth, but look out for the ghosts. Par 2.

Hole 5 – Teetris

Drop your ball from the top of the large replica Tetris wall. I found this one easy, as I aimed it for the centre of the L shape, so that it hooked it around. Your ball will fall down the wall. Par 3

Hole 6 – 742 Evergreen Terrace

This one is named after the fictional street address of the animated TV show, The Simpsons. It’s a replica of the living room of the Homer and Marge Simpson. It’ll be a must-photograph spot for fans of the show. Otherwise, it’s pretty easy to put around the bottom of the couch as there are no obstacles. Par 3

Hole 7 – Oom-par Loom-par Doompadee Tee

This spot in Willy Wonka themed. Aim your ball at the bottom of the chocolate factory. The ball will fall to the bottom level. Par 3

Hole 8 – Shut Ya Trap

Anyone who has played the Mousetrap boardgame will find this a familiar set. Drop your ball in the yellow hole and watch it travel around with your fingers crossed. Par 3.

Hole 9 – The Ass Hole

Hit around the donkey, but start from the far right side. Par 3

Top Floor Course: Saint Andies

Hole 1 – The Loop Hole

Start your putting on this green. Par 2

Hole 2 – Par for The Corpse

A graveyard themed course – aim your ball at the skull. An easy one. Par 2

Hole 3 – Zappy as Larry

This green looks like an oversized Operation boardgame. Here you need to aim for Larry’s mouth. But it’s okay if you miss and hit another organ, as it will shoot down one of three holes to the bottom layer. Par 3.

Hole 4 – Puttle Shuttle

An old school style game with a slight lean. Aim for the top hole to get a hole in one. Par 3

Hole 5 – Draw Fore

There are four UNO inspired cards. So you need to select a colour (blue, red, green, yellow) and then aim for the coloured hole that matches your card. This green will be more chaotic with more players. *Score determined by the order players finish the hole

Hole 6 – The Great Holdini

The green is inspired by a magicians show. It’s dead easy, so pause here and stand behind the box of swords for a fun photo. Par 3.

Hole 7 – The Moon and Pars

This is a cute sloth E.T. mash-up. Try to avoid the chocolate boxes, and aim for the back wall. I got a hole in one here. Par 2.

Hole 8 – Mazed and Confused

Here you will drop the ball and then tilt the pinball board. Two people can play this at the same time. I’m going to admit to having a couple of goes here – and I could not work out how to get the perfect score. (Please leave a comment if you did!) ** Score determined by the tray.

Hole 9 – The Upside Down

This is an upside-down living room. I think it was designed by a golf-mad bachelor. Avoid looking at the bright white light – or you’ll be blinded. Par 2.

Holey Moley is a great spot for work parties, with several spaces you can book out for functions.

Holey Moley serves woodfired pizzas including:

  • The Big Tony – mozzarella, pepperoni and secret pizza sauce
  • The Parloha – mozzarella, ham, pineapple and secret pizza sauce
  • The Cheese and Thank You – classic Margherita
  • Meatlovers

The Caddyshack Bar is a great way to finish your game with a full beer and cocktail menu.

Look out for the special deals on different days of the week, like unlimited golf and two for the price of one.

Holey Moley was created by the brains at Funlab.
