Happy Pops is an award-winning modern gelato shop from Noosa is located in Stanley Street Plaza in Southbank. Be tempted by their range of hand crafted and preservative-free ice blocks. They use Australian ingredients like Maleny milk, real fruit, high-quality vanilla and Belgian chocolate.
You can create your own happy pop, by selecting your naked pop. Then choose your chocolate drizzle and any three toppings. Think vanilla, chocolate, strawberry and cream, hazelnut, bitter chocolate, mango, coconut, lemon and blood orange and watermelon. New flavours are launched monthly.
Alternatively, you can buy one of the premium pops decorated by the in-house pastry chef. Popular options include choc mint brownie, salted caramel, hokey pokey, chocolate brownie, yogurt raspberry coconut, Nutella cookies and crème and fruit pavlova.
If you just want a little taste or buying for children, then look for the mini naked pops.
Happy Pops also sell a range of gelato shakes made with real vanilla gelato, topped with soft serve and toppings. The gelato shake flavours are vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, banana, lime, Nutella, cookies and cream, peanut butter, coffee, malt and caramel.

About Augusta Puttkammer
South African born Augusta Puttkammer is a chef by trade. Augusta holds multiple culinary qualifications including the prestigious Cordon Bleu Grande diploma and a level IV qualification in commercial cookery. She has worked in award winning kitchens in both South Africa & Australia and also as a private chef for the American Consulate General. Augusta’s career has also seen her work with Tourism Africa in Hong Kong showcasing African dining.
For the five years prior to opening Happy Pops, Augusta worked on product development overseeing commercial and technical aspects and project management. In 2018, Augusta opened Happy Pops at Hastings Street in Noosa, Queensland, creating and selling premium artisanal gelato and sorbet with her husband Ian and in 2019, opened their second Happy Pops location in South Brisbane.

After extensive traveling and working in kitchens all over the world, owner and chef entrepreneur Augusta, together with her husband Ian decided Noosa will be the perfect spot to settle and bring to life their dream of owning a gelato pop store, “a happy place for all”. Happy Pops was born.
