Fusion Acupuncture & Natural Therapies is run by Caitlin Armit, who is registered with Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (the largest in the country).
The name ‘Fusion’ was selected to capture the integration of Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Remedial Massage (Tui Na), cupping and moxibustion into holistic treatments. ‘Fusion’ also reflects the application of ancient Eastern medicine to modern health concerns.
Caitlin can do needles, massage, cupping and moxibustion.
Acupuncture can be a gentle way to encourage blood flow and energy to a sore area. In Chinese medicine, they call this ‘qi’. I had some round bruises on my back from the cupping that lasted a few days = that’s fairly normal and you don’t have to add this to your session.
Acupuncture is great for back pain, musculoskeletal injuries, headaches, migraines and a range of other conditions. Caitlin treats people with fertility issues, digestive health complaints, stress management, cold and clue, and insomnia. The needles are sterilised and single use.
I’m fairly sure I fell asleep during my session. Then I slept well that night. My back felt great afterwards too.
It’s a great spot in the Brisbane C.B.D just down from the centre of the Queens Street Mall in Albert Street.
