Drawing Nudes While Making Other Plans by Zoe Gaetjens -As her beloved sister advised, Cleo Markson has planned for the perfect summer before Year 12!

Among some of the many experiences Cleo has listed, those below seem the most doable!

  1. Take a life-drawing course at the Australian Art School, which is held in an old prison chapel! Also, try to keep your cool when the course entails drawing a naked man!!
  2. Find your REAL friends!
  3. Experience your first kiss with the right person.

(Try not to wish your sister were still here. IMPOSSIBLE!)

A beautifully written episode/experience in a young woman’s life as she copes, not only with the many changes in body and mind at that age, but also with the loss of her sister.

The text is amusing, heart-wrenching, but also uplifting. A must-read for teens and those who remember their own trials and tribulations, joys and sorrows, during their teenage years.

ISBN:9781761358012

Drawing Nudes While Making Other Plans is available in paperback, e-book and audiobook

About Zoe Gaetjens

As a year 11 student, Zoe Gaetjens attended a life drawing workshop where she failed to plan anything significant. She has since traded her charcoal for a laptop and writes books for children and young adults. When Zoe is not writing, she works as a high school English teacher. She believes that the books you love as a teenager stay with you forever. Zoe lives just outside of Sydney with her husband and three kids.
