BrewDog was created by a group of Scottish craft beer trailblazers. The Brisbane venue features a tap room, brewery, restaurant and shop. This one will be BrewDog’s 94th bar globally.
You’ll be able to sample some of the craft beer from the 28 taps, including local guest beers from Range Brewing, Currumbin Valley Brewing, Balter, Aether, Brouhaha, Black Hops and more. On the must-try list is the famed BrewDog Headliners (including the industry-shaking Punk IPA). The wine menu features a strong Aussie list.
If you’re interested in something to eat – there’s a classic pub menu of burgers, dogs, buffalo wings, salads and small plates to share. The BrewDog favourites include Korean-style chicken wings, crispy pork cheeks, baby squid calamari and barramundi fritters.
The weekend brunch menu includes chicken and waffles, eggs benny and more.
“Brisbane’s craft brewing industry is booming, with an impressive line-up of innovative and dynamic brands producing phenomenal beers. We’re pumped to join the incredible community and work closely with these breweries to champion Queensland-made beer – whether that’s through events, collaborations, knowledge sharing or stocking their beers in our bars across the globe. DogTap Brisbane is one of our best and biggest bars yet and we can’t wait for locals to experience it”.James Watt, BrewDog Co-founder

About BrewDog Australia
BrewDog opened the doors to its first Australian brewery and taproom, DogTap, in Brisbane in November 2019, and has been firmly planting its roots in the vibrant Brisbane beer scene ever since. The brewery started brewing its first headliner beers on Australian soil in August and has been purpose-built for rapid growth with plenty of space available on the site ready for expansion. Aussie-brewed BrewDog beer is currently available nationwide on the recently launched online shop and BrewDog fans across the country can enjoy freshly-brewed BrewDog beer dispatched the next working day.
Due to the success seen in Brisbane so far and high demand from thirsty BrewDog fans around the country, the craft brewer is on the prowl for new sites and is set to expand its presence Down Under, opening new flagship BrewDog bars in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane by end of 2021.
Since 2007, BrewDog has been on a mission to make other people as passionate about great craft beer as we are. From the Headliner series, which includes bold, uncompromising pack leaders like the flagship Punk IPA, to the Amplified range (beer, but turned up to 11), BrewDog brews beer that blows people’s minds and has kick-started a revolution.
Cofounders James Watt and Martin Dickie shook up the business world in 2010 with the launch of pioneering crowdfunding initiative Equity for Punks, an initiative that has seen the company raise over £73m over six rounds, with their latest round open until April 2020. The funds and the army of punk shareholders (123,000) has enabled the Scottish craft brewery to scale up without selling out.
With over 90 bars across the globe, export into 60 countries, and a brewery in Ohio that launched in 2017, BrewDog continues to take the craft beer revolution stratospheric, whilst continuing to push the boundaries, invest in people, put the beer first, and champion other small breweries in its venues.
