Pete Evans is a consultant chef for Asana in Brisbane’s C.B.D. This modern restaurant is located on the bottom floor of the Capri by Fraser Hotel.
There is an extensive wine, cocktail and beverage list. They serve coffee by Sensory Lab. A couple of people popped in for takeaway coffee while we were there. We ordered mineral water and a Martini.
My dining partner and I ate our way through beef carpaccio, lamb ribs, barramundi and sweet potato fries. Manu Feildel would be impressed as there was a sauce with everything.
It’s the ideal place to eat if you are following a paleo diet or avoiding gluten and dairy. The pizza and burgers looked tempting.
I finished my meal off with a delicious chocolate rocky road inspired ice block.
The decor is modern with a living green wall and origami sculptures. Ask for a bench seat and book ahead.
The restaurant is open all day for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The bar area is open from 3 pm.
